Position Details

Organization: BharatCares
Position: Project Coordinator / Block Trainer
Location: Pune (Daund, Ambegaon, Baramati)
Duration: 4 months
Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹27,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

Training & Capacity Building

• Deliver training sessions for ASHAs, ANMs, Anganwadi Workers, and health supervisors.
• Instruct on maternal vaccination, interpersonal communication, and handling myths.
• Administer pre- and post-training assessments to track learning progress.
• Maintain comprehensive training attendance sheets and field documentation logs.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Facilitate orientation sessions for government health stakeholders and nodal officers.
• Coordinate with Taluka Health Officers (THOs) and Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs).
• Partner with Medical Officers and ICDS teams for smooth implementation.
• Attend government review meetings and routine health monitoring visits.

Field Operations

• Travel regularly across assigned blocks for direct training delivery.
• Build local vaccine communication and counselling systems at block levels.
• Submit regular field reports to the central project management team.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, or Allied Health.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in public health, maternal child health, or immunization.
• Skills: Prior experience in IEC/BCC initiatives and frontline worker training.
• Language: Proficiency in local languages (Marathi for Pune, Bengali for Kolkata) is highly preferred.
• Logistics: High willingness to travel extensively within assigned rural/urban blocks.
